The GENEWIZ University Games 2026 Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. INTERNET ACCESS REQUIRED. The GENEWIZ University Games (“Promotion”) is sponsored by GENEWIZ from Azenta Life Sciences (“Sponsor”). Promotion is offered only in the United States (excluding residents of Florida, New York and Rhode Island) (“Promotion Area”). Void outside the Promotion Area and where prohibited.

PROMOTION PERIOD

Promotion begins on March 16, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on March 20, 2026 at 5:59 p.m. ET (“Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s timekeeping system is the official time-keeping device for this Promotion, and Sponsor shall have sole discretion in determining the timeliness of any actions or inactions related to the Promotion. Promotion is subject to all federal, state and/or local laws. The Sponsor shall be entitled to interpret these official rules (“Official Rules”) as needed, including without limitation, rules regarding eligibility, entries, deadlines, winner selection and prize restrictions. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.

ELIGIBILITY
At the time of entry, you must be: (i) eighteen (18) years or older and above the age of majority in your state of residence, (ii) a legal resident of the Promotion Area; at the time of entry; (iii) professionally engaged in laboratory-based scientific research.

The following are not eligible to participate in the Promotion: (i) Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives and independent contractors of Sponsor, its subsidiaries or affiliated companies, together with their immediate family members and members of the same households (whether related or not);(ii) residents of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, the Crimea region of Ukraine, Russia, or any country subject to U.S. embargo; (iii) any persons (including businesses, research institutions, government and private organizations, individuals, and other types of legal persons) on the U.S. government’s Denied Persons List, Specially Designated Nationals List, Entity List, Unverified List or any other similar list maintained by the U.S. government or any other government to whose laws the Sponsor, its subsidiaries or affiliated companies, the Promotion, or such person is subject, and all individuals employed thereby or otherwise associated therewith; and (iv) any persons for whom it would be illegal to participate in or win the Promotion, or with or to whom it would be illegal for the Sponsor to interact as contemplated herein.

Participation in the Promotion constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.

HOW TO ENTER
ONLINE ENTRY ONLY. No other method of entry will be accepted. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address during the Promotion Period. Any additional entries submitted will be void.

During the Promotion Period, visit web.genewiz.com/genewiz-university, to access the online entry form for the Promotion (“Entry”). Follow the instructions to fully complete and submit the Entry, and spin the online prize wheel. Winners will be randomly selected for a prize depending on where the arrow lands on the wheel (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the Official Rules). Sponsor is not responsible for any entry that is lost, misdirected, undeliverable, garbled, distorted, truncated, incomplete, illegible, incorrect or late for any reason, and such Entry is void. The Entries that are incomplete or do not provide any required information may be disqualified without further notification by the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Entry at any time that in its opinion does not comply with these Official Rules.

Sponsor may collect personal data about entrants online. By participating in the Promotion, you agree that Sponsor may collect and use the personal information you provide in connection with the Promotion in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (accessible at https://www.genewiz.com/public/company/policies/privacy-policy) which may be updated from time to time.

WINNER SELECTION , NOTIFICATION
Winners and prizes will be selected at random by software. Winners will be notified immediately on screen through the Promotion Website and directed to claim their prize (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Failure to claim a prize within seven (7) days will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize. If winner is deemed ineligible or otherwise noncompliant with the Official Rules, such prize will be forfeited and not awarded. Upon forfeiture, no compensation will be given. Decisions of Sponsor regarding Prize eligibility and determination are final.

RELEASE
By submitting an Entry, you authorize and grant Sponsor and its Affiliates an unlimited right to reproduce, use, exhibit, publish or display your name, biographical information, likeness, address (city, state), voice, photograph, name of the your institution or company, and content of your Entry (collectively “Likeness”) in any manner or media now existing or hereafter developed, including social media and web materials, in perpetuity, throughout the world, for advertising and promotional purposes without further notice or compensation, except where prohibited.

INDEMNITY, DISCLAIMER, & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating in the Promotion, you agree, on behalf of yourself and your institution or company, to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and each of their officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively “Released Parties”) from all liability for any injury, loss or damage, including death or property damage, due in whole or part, directly or indirectly, to the participation in the Promotion or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize. RELEASED PARTIES EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND (WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE), INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, LATE, STOLEN, INCOMPLETE, ILLEGIBLE, INACCURATE, UNDELIVERED, DELAYED OR MISDIRECTED ENTRIES, OR FOR ANY COMPUTER, INTERNET, EMAIL, TELEPHONE OR TECHNICAL MALFUNCTIONS OR DELAYS, OR FOR ANY HUMAN ERRORS THAT OCCUR IN THE PROCESSING, TRANSMISSION OR RECEIPT OF ENTRIES, OR FOR INACCURATE TRANSCRIPTION OF ENTRY INFORMATION, OR IF THE PROMOTION IS NOT CAPABLE OF BEING CONDUCTED AS PLANNED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO INFECTION BY COMPUTER VIRUSES, BUGS, TAMPERING, UNAUTHORIZED INTERVENTION, FRAUD, TECHNICAL FAILURES, OR OTHER CAUSES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE SPONSORS. BY ENTERING THE PROMOTION, ACCEPTING A PRIZE AND/OR OTHERWISE PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION, YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT (A) ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE PROMOTION, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONJUNCTION WITH PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION OR THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF THE AWARD, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT ANY OF THEM ARE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE FOREGOING LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SHALL APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. THE SPONSOR’S TOTAL AND CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROMOTION SHALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE TOTAL VALUE OF THE PRIZE.

PRIZES

Prizes may include promotional codes, discounts (up to a maximum discount of $2,000) or other items as specified on the Promotion Website. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. Actual value may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of winner. Odds of winning are based on number of participants.

Promo code prizes are valid on a single order confirmed by September 30, 2026, excluding Custom orders; European prepaid barcodes; NGS Sequence Only; all EZ services (Amplicon-EZ, 16S-EZ, ITS-EZ, Plasmid-EZ, Colony-EZ, PCR-EZ, Microbe-EZ and Sanger-EZ); all regulated services (CLIA and GLP services); and GENEWIZ Purchase Cards. Prizes are not retroactive and cannot be combined with any other offerings, including pricing contracts and GENEWIZ Referral Rewards. Promo code must be included with your online order or quote request for discount to activate. Promo code is not valid on orders where samples are pathogenic.

ADDITIONAL TERMS
By submitting an Entry, you agree, on behalf of the participant and your institution or company: (1) to be bound by these Official Rules; (2) that the Sponsor shall retain full authority, in its sole discretion, to interpret and administer these Official Rules; (3) that any dispute with regard to the conduct of the Promotion, Official Rule interpretation, or award of a prize, shall be resolved by the Sponsor, whose decision shall be binding and final; and (4) to be bound by all decisions and interpretations made in good faith by the Sponsor. Furthermore, you represent and warrant that: (1) you meet the eligibility requirements of the Promotion; (2) you have all required authorizations and permissions from your institution or company; (3) entering into the Promotion does not and will not violate any law or regulation, or any of your institution’s or company’s rules or policies; and (4) the information contained in the application is true and correct in all material respects and is owned or rightfully possessed by you without restriction on disclosure. The Sponsor may disqualify your Entry if the Sponsors determine in their sole discretion that doing so would likely result in a violation of an applicable law, rule, or policy.

The Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, modify, cancel or terminate the Promotion without advance notice, including, without limitation, in the event of any act, occurrence or reason that it believes would compromise the legality, integrity, administration or fairness of the Promotion. If one or more provisions of these official rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall be valid and enforceable. The failure of the Sponsors to comply with any provision of these official rules due to civil unrest, threat of or actual acts of terrorism or war, embargoes, governmental actions, acts of God, earthquakes, floods, storms, fires, supplier delay, accidents, explosions, epidemics, quarantine restrictions, or other such contingencies beyond the control of the Sponsors, shall not be considered a breach of these rules.

DISPUTES, GOVERNING LAW
These official rules are governed by and shall be construed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without application of its choice of law principles. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of New Jersey and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of New Jersey. To the fullest extent permitted by law, as a condition of participating in the this Promotion, you agree that any and all disputes, claim, controversies, or causes of action arising out of or relating to this Promotion, or any prize offered or awarded, shall be (i) arbitrated on an individual basis only, and shall not be consolidated or joined with or in any arbitration or other proceeding involving a claim of any other party, and (ii) settled by binding arbitration in Middlesex County, New Jersey before a single arbitrator appointed by American Arbitration Association and in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association.
