GENEWIZ Summer Camp Grants

Hike the trail to discovery with grants totaling $30,000! This summer, we’re recognizing genomics breakthroughs with 9 grants across a range of GENEWIZ services. Whether your path requires sequencing or synthesis, or you're venturing into uncharted territories, we’re here to be your guiding compass as you embark on your scientific expedition.

To participate, submit your abstract by June 20, 2025. Only one entry may be submitted per person. The winners will be selected by our panel of judges and announced after GENEWIZ Summer Camp.

NGS Explorer Grant: Choose your sequencing path

Unlock your research potential with a wide variety of next generation sequencing (NGS) solutions. With the NGS Explorer Grant, you can choose your preferred sequencing path to expand your genomic snapshot and gain in-depth insights with our comprehensive sequencing solutions.

1x $5,000 grant, 1x $3,000 grant, and 1x $2,000 grant

Synthesis Voyager Grant: Optimize gene construction

Traditional molecular cloning methods are often complex. Gene synthesis provides an efficient method to quickly generate constructs for exploration of mechanisms in vitro, while also providing precise sequence vectors for therapeutic development. The Synthesis Voyager Grant enables you to leverage gene synthesis in your research to help you efficiently characterize the effects of genomic changes on the mechanisms of cellular functions.

Wizard Pioneer Grant: For new approaches, organisms, or applications

Calling all scientific trailblazers! The Wizard Pioneer Grant supports groundbreaking research and is available for any GENEWIZ service, including all gene synthesis and sequencing solutions. To apply for this grant, tell us how you will utilize our solutions to advance science with a new approach, new organism, or new fundamental understanding.
