GENEWIZ WEEK WEBINAR
CAR-T Cell Development: From CAR Design to Lead Candidate in Days
Thursday 17 September | 11:00 AM CET, 10:00 AM BST

About the webinar
The webinar will discuss how to screen and compare multiple CAR constructs efficiently to identify and optimise promising lead candidates earlier in the CAR-T cell development process.
The CAR FINDER platform used enables rapid, automated evaluation of multiple CAR constructs in parallel, helping researchers move from CAR design to lead candidate identification in days rather than months or years.
What you'll learn about
- Efficient parallel screening and comparison of multiple CAR designs
- Identification and optimisation of promising CAR candidates earlier in the development process
- Automated screening to shorten the time from CAR design to lead candidate selection
About the presenter
Dr. Sandy Tretbar
Head of the Cell and Molecular Biology Unit at Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology
A molecular biologist and RNA biochemist by training, Sandy completed her PhD and postdoctoral research in Germany and the US. She joined Fraunhofer IZI as a Research Associate in 2018 and became Group Leader in 2022. Her research combines RNA biology and cell therapy development in immuno-oncology, focusing on non-viral gene transfer and mRNA-based cell and gene therapies for cancer and other diseases.
