About the Presenter
In the last decade, Dr. Vaidyanathan has worked on several diseases, including laryngeal cancer, congenital disorders of glycosylation and X-linked intellectual disability, using biochemical, molecular biology, and genetic approaches. She has a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia, and 2 post-doctoral fellowships at Sanford Burnham and the University of Georgia, both in glycobiology, biochemistry and molecular biology.
