If you could solve one scientific mystery in your lifetime, what would it be and why? 
"I'd love to find out what Ultraconserved Elements (UCEs) in DNA actually do. They're almost identical across species as different as humans, mice, and birds, which suggests they're incredibly important, but we still don't know why. Solving that mystery could teach us something fundamental about life itself."
